A 22-inch griddle that also has to fit in your cabinet
The largest breakfast surface is useful only when the whole routine fits.

Measure the assembled appliance and its storage form separately, then plan where the plate and electrical control will go.
Measure the working shape first
Start with the place where you will actually cook. Put a tape measure across the available counter and note nearby cabinet doors, appliance handles and the route to the outlet. A nominal twenty-two-inch plate is not a twenty-two-inch complete appliance; the Presto listing gives a larger outside body.
Sketch the surrounding preparation space as well. A bowl of batter, a plate for finished food and a spatula all need somewhere practical to sit. Filling every inch of counter with the appliance can make the larger cooking surface less convenient than it looked in a photograph.
Draw a meal rather than counting illustrated eggs
Write down the breakfast you make most often, including how many portions you want ready together. Picture the actual sizes of your pancakes, toast or other ingredients. Leave turning space between them. A photograph filled with small portions does not establish the same capacity for every recipe.
This griddle has one shared temperature control. It suits food that can share a setting or be cooked in a planned sequence. If several foods routinely require different settings at the same time, compare that requirement before assuming that a bigger plate solves it.

Use the handle feature for its real purpose
The detachable handles are a useful storage distinction. The listing describes latch clips that release them without tools, but the appliance still needs correct assembly for use. Read the current model instructions rather than improvising a handle-free cooking position to gain a few inches.
Measure the storage opening, shelf depth and access angle after accounting for the detached parts. Keep the regulator, cord and tray together in a convenient place. A storage feature saves effort when the pieces have a clear destination and can be found easily before the next meal.
Plan the sink and drying space
Check how the cooled plate will be carried, washed and dried. The broad body may fit on the counter while being awkward in a small sink. Compare that handling route with a removable-plate design if washing a large assembly would be a recurring problem.
The listing allows immersion with the electrical heat control detached. That permission applies to the specified parts and procedure, not to the regulator. Keep electrical components dry and follow the exact cleaning instructions for the current ceramic surface. Do not copy an older demonstration’s care routine without checking the version.
Choose the feature you will use repeatedly
Presto leads our electric-griddle comparison for a straightforward broad plate, detachable handles and a moderate selected price. The handle feature is particularly relevant when the appliance must leave the counter after breakfast. A permanently installed cooking station creates a different buying decision.
Before ordering, walk through one complete meal and cleanup sequence on paper. Include preparation, serving, cooling, washing, drying and storage. If your existing pan already handles the usual portions comfortably, a new large griddle should solve a specific batch or space problem rather than simply adding another object to the kitchen.
